Technical Program and Organizing Committees invite to
XV International Conference on Electromagnetic Disturbances
EMD'2005

It is our great pleasure to announce that the XV International Conference on Electromagnetic Disturbances will be held in Białystok on 21 - 23 September 2005.

The EMD'2005 Conference is the continuation of a series of Symposia concerning the Overvoltages in Power Electronics and Computer Systems, which were started in 1990. Since then these conferences took place in Bialystok and Hołny Mejera (Poland), Vilnius, Kaunas, Dubingiai and Palanga (Lithuania).

Protection of electronic and electric devices or systems against malfunction, failure or permanent degradation is critical, especially from cost-effective perspective. This fact as well as the evolution of electronic technology caused impetuous necessity for extension of the scope of the EMD Conference with several new topics.

The aim of the EMD Conferences is to create the forum for presentations and discussions about sources of electromagnetic disturbances, their influence on electronic devices and systems, and protection against them.
