Faculty of
Electrical Engineering, Bia造stok
September 19-21, 2007, Bia造stok, Poland
Organized by

Polish Electrical Engineers (SEP)
Branch of SEP in Bia造stok
The
EMD'2007 Conference is a continuation of the series of symposia
concerning Overvoltages in Power Electronics and Computer Systems,
which were started in 1990. Since then these conferences took place
in Bia造stok and Ho軟y Mejera (Poland), Vilnius, Kaunas, Dubingiai and
Palanga (Lithuania).
Protection of electronic and electric devices or systems against
malfunction, failure or permanent degradation is critical, especially
from cost-effective perspective. This fact as well as the evolution of
electronic technology caused impetuous necessity for extension of the
EMD conference scope with several new topics.
The aim of the EMD Conferences is to create a forum for presentations
and discussions about sources of electromagnetic disturbances, their
influence on electronic devices and systems, and protection against
them.
