Description
This is a two-day training course covering hardware and software aspects of Efika MPC5200B with special emphasis put on MorphOS – The Lightning Operating System
Participants will have an opportunity to get acquainted with MorphOS as well as Genesi hardware, Efika MPC5200B – small sized, low power consumption, fanless computer.
Objectives
- to familiarize participants with MorphOS and PowerPC architecture
- to show the current Genesi products
- to show the current version of the MorphOS Operating System
- to show Efika MPC5200B as small media center
- to give the idea of other alternative systems and hardware
- to demonstrate computer art
- to show AROS and Linux on Efika

- Short presentation of Efika hardware: small sized, low power consumption, fanless.
- Presentation of Reggae multimedia framework – programming and comparison with the old datatypes system.
- Presentation of Origyn Web Browser.
- Creating music on Efika.
- Ambient – the advanced desktop and file manager for MorphOS.
